Hi all,

Another question, this time around a gonipora. Where should Goni be placed? I’ve seen a few different things, but my understanding is medium flow/low light?

I’ve had the Goni for maybe 6 months and it seems like the polyps have gotten smaller if anything. Definitely no growth.

I add -
- daily amino acids and live phyto (broadcast) in the AM.
- Reef roids 1x/week.

Is there a better positioning for the Goni? With it getting smaller, my main concern is trying a new spot and it bothering the coral more then it already is

Sorry for the bad photos/ algae on the glass!

Thanks, maybe I need to find some better flow. I think it may be too low where it is now..

medium flow medium light. Mine are under heavy light and flow, they love it.

Yours is the little green thing in the middle of the tank? I hardly think it would get much flow there, seems protected by the aquascape around it.

I also think medium flow and mine are in medium light (around middle of rockwork). If they get low flow, they do expand large but don't seem as colorful or happy.

Thanks, I had it in higher flow originally but seemed to be getting beat up so I moved it lower. At first it seemed happy but I’m pretty sure it’s getting smaller slowly over time.

The Goni has definitely been a challenge to find the right placement for.
