Just got a pink goni a few hours ago and it’s doing well. Polyps are out and can see the “flowers.” It’s on the on the bottom of the tank (bare bottom), in moderate flow, Kessil aw160. Was curious other than feeding them, how long will it take until it branches out? I know they are sensitive coral. Thanks in advance!

Hard to say when the frag will come out

Depends on the species as well, some are short polyp. Could take a day to get comfy in the tank.

It extends, it did in the store. I’ll give it 24-36 hours and see what it does. Just don’t know if it’s one of those “takes a week” type corals. Or it just needs to find the sweet spot.
