Hello,

I am considering a 120gal aquarium, saltwater, what would be a good filter for this? There are so many options, looking to eliminate stuff I don't need.

Welcome to Reef2Reef and to saltwater!

There's lots of knowledgeable people here more than willing to help, but there's no one right or wrong answer to your question, there's far more than one way to run a saltwater tank. Without knowing more about what you want to keep in yours, it would be very difficult to answer your question.

Keeping saltwater aquaria typically requires A LOT of learning and research before starting a tank. If you're brand new to the hobby this guide would be a great place to start:
https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/the-supreme-guide-to-setting-up-a-saltwater-reef-aquarium.84/
And I personally suggest this video series for beginners:

I would suggest doing some research and trying to identify what you want to do with your tank. Please take a look at the above links and let us know if you have any further, specific questions.

Good luck with your tank!
