Please post pics of your progress... I am about to start a new project... with a 55 gallon acrylic frag tank too... Using HOB Seaclone 100 skimmer... And a Fluval 350 Canister filter. Never thought about adding the sump/fuge in the tank as well... What a great Idea... Gotta love R2R...

I sure will!

Ill start a new thread for it

I hope everything works well.i just thought why do a fuge underneath when i could do it in the tank!!

Now i need a little bit more $ and i can get the tank, pump, sand, and water

Do you have to have lighting to cyce a tank?

This tank will get a nice amount of sunlight, but not too much

When you say "grass" do you mean true sea grass that requires a very deep sandbed among other special requirements like fertilizer, etc.? Or are you referring to a grassy type of like Caulerpa Prolifera that grows very easily for nutrient removal? If it's the former I think you will be more successful with macro.

any 1?

This might determine if i get it this week or later
