Good Morning!

Just found out that Robert Fenner passed away this morning in his sleep.

What a huge loss and one of the true pioneers of this great hobby. His contributions are vast and far reaching.

I read many of his books when first starting out.

Bob, thank you! RIP.

Very sad day. :(

I have ancestors from the Branson area. Bald knobbers. The group got its name from the grassy bald knob summits of the nearby Ozark Mountains.

LOL
My Mom was from Louisville, KY. My Dad was from Marion, Ohio and his family from Sicily. I had one grandfather that spoke German and Another that spoke Italian.

I was the first West Virginian in the family. My brother was born in Ohio.
I speak in the northern southern Appalachian dialect. So I get some strange looks when we travel.
Especially from those that like to announce where you are from after you speak to them.

I'm Scotch Irish/ American Cherokee. My lineage has been traced all the way back to Queen Victoria and the house of Hanover.

My great great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. Her husband of scotch Irish decent and her operated the first grist mill in Missouri.
