Good morning...well, it was still morning when I typed this...forgot to post! ;FacepalmGot the BioCube cleaned up yesterday...today will be the 90. Cleaned out the skimmer (eww) and changed the filter sock. Just took one of the grands on a FaceTime tour of the tank. They're supposed to come down in a month or so...can't wait! Have a great Sunday all!

there is finally snow here, being topped off by rain. Weather forecast is to stay above freezing until early tomorrow with above freezing returning thursday and friday with cold saturday til tuesday
I do not rely on weather reports unless they consist of the sunrise and sunset times followed by "so go enjoy the day!"

Good morning all! Maintenance of both tanks was finally accomplished yesterday. Light snow here this morning, and it's Monday. The bad thing about flexing half days on Fridays is opening my inbox Monday morning. It's amazing how many "problems" come up Friday afternoon. ;Meh

An 8-year-old girl went to work with her father on “Take your child to work day.” As they were walking around the office the girl started crying. Her father asked what was wrong. Mornin Everyone.
Got another dusting of the white stuff overnight!
Im guessing one of the Nas snails burrowed under my huge Zoa colony and moved it up against the glass. Drained some water and reached right in to move It. Had to fiddle around with it a little and it got “upset”! I forgot about the cut on my thumb and I got “paly’d”!
Not feeling sick or anything but I sure did take notice.

Not sure if I ever mentioned that I grew up on Long Island (born in Bayshore, then Holbrook and then Lake Ronkonkoma).
I remember when Winters there were really bad. Not sure of the exact year ( because I’m old ), it was in the 70’s and woke up on an Easter Sunday to almost 4’ that fell overnight.
I love the snow! Took my road test for my drivers license in the snow.

Mike in the 70s I had a snow plowing business and one morning on a Monday we woke up to 18" of snow that wasn't predicted. I plowed from my house to the Chrysler Building in Manhattan where I was working. I parked right on the sidewalk as nothing was moving. Not a car anywhere. I then drove home through the Worlds Fair grounds.
I made about 2 months salary plowing that day and we went to Bermuda.

We were living in a large, sprawled out garden apartment complex in Holbrook at the time. They had huge tractors with tires not tracks. D9’s? That came in to dig us out During that storm. Took them days and they damaged a bunch of cars doing it.
