good PH range for sps growth?

7.8-8.3 has always worked well on my systems. If I open the window I can get 8.2 all day but?

100%. My range is usually 7.9-8.2 but would love to be where yours are.

i achieve these levels using a kalk reactor and co2 scrubber. thanks

I target and see the best results in terms or coral growth and health at 8.3-8.4. However, keeping up at those levels requires a lot of extra work such has heavy kalkwasser dosing and a fresh air line connected to the skimmer.

I didn't realize most people's ranges were on the lower side! Mine naturally sits between 8.3-8.4 on any day without any dosing or fresh air line and seems to keep them happy
