Hello folks. About I'm about to keep some gorgonians for the first time! I ordered two 5 inch tall frags (one purple tip gorgonian and one rusty gorgonian) that are on their way and I'm just trying to figure out the best spot for them. Below is a photo of my 40 gallon breeder. Should I have them to the sides or smack in the middle where the current converges? Or perhaps have it grow out from between the brickwork closer to the back? Any suggestions or insight will be appreciated!

I have been keeping gorgs for decades and I can't keep the purple or rusty ones long at all. The brown ones live forever and cover the tank. But the purples are filter feeders and don't generally do well.

I hope you have better luck than I do with them. :D
