picked this up a couple weeks ago. looking to build a new exhaust for it. anyone ever built their own exhaust for a riding mower? this thing is 12hp and will make your ears bleed lol

I know that you an buy a new muffler that will screw into that "manifold" for only a few bucks.

yeah but most of them aren't very quiet. im thinking of using some high heat piping 3/4 inch fitting into a 1.5 inch "muffler" packed with fiberglass cloth, then back into a 3/4 inch piece drilled with a bunch of holes like a flash suppressor to dampen the sound.
