So the tank is about 5 months old now and I sent off my first ICP test just to see where I am with my parameters and how accurate my test kits are. Plus wanted to get another set of eyes on this to see if anything needs addressing.
Rodi
I see some things that need further looking into.
Salinity - showing 32.80. Prior to sending off I took measurements of everything and my Milwaukee digital refrecometer was showing 1.026...so one of us is wrong lol.
Mag - showing 1400 but was reading 1480 of red sea pro and salifert.
Alk - 8.1 ICP vs 8.9 on Hanna
Cal - 423 ICP vs 420 Red Sea.
Nitrate - 0.1 ICP vs 5 on Red Sea
Phosphate - 0.03 ICP vs 0 on Hanna LR (may need to invest in ULR).
Barium - apparently super high? Not sure what that means as far as aquariums go...
Overall, anything you guys see that needs to be addressed and are the results similar to others' experience as far as comparison to our hobby grade test kits? BTW I already dose PO4 and NO3 using diy Loudwolf reagents.
Also Rodi showing elevated Silicon, I have a BRS 6 stage. Do I need to change filters? If so which?
Thanks for looking!
