So I bought this nice torch coral from my LFS. I was transferring it to a container for dipping and this nice little green emerald crab popped out. I got really excited because it was my first real visible hitchhiker other then a claim on my zoa rock. I figured I just saved 6 bucks to for a good little algae eater.

I dropped that little guy in the tank and the first thing he did was scamper over to my favorite acan and start munching away....just my luck of course. I cant even think how to get this little dude back out of the tank now.

When it rains emerald crabs, it pours... You could try feeding him some seaweed - see if he prefers that over the acans. Don't feel too bad -I bought $300 worth of acans earlier in the year and my midnight angel ate them all in an evening...
