Nice! I know my sunrise millepora does the same thing, at night that thing just comes alive :)

I need a better camera so I can take pictures with the coral’s real color but this guy has some bright green in him you can’t really see here

I get up early most days (while it is still dark) and always am amazed at the coral transformation in the dark. Many have tentacles out or polyp extension that, by day, you have no clue they were even capable of having.

Same. I’m usually up at 4:30. It’s cool to see everything opened up!

This picture was taken a while after lights out. This is what it looks like during the day, new growth is a bright yellow but the camera doesnt pick it up
