Thanks I heard it was a bit overkill for 10x but wasn't sure, what's a good return pump? That comes to 10 x's an hour passing threw your filtration. Your good.
I would not reduce it, at all.
I have a 110 from "Red Sea". It came with a 1,800 gph return pump from the factory.
Have any reliable submersible return pump recommendations?Well ur also going to have some head loss I think that pump will be a great pump for ur system
Plus what he saidThere is lots of good ones out there.
You'll get a thousand opinions!
Do you have power heads or pumps to move more water around inside your 120?

I'm in Florida so it's hot as hell and about 4 feet up maybe I have the 120 already just planning everything in advance and buying stuff nowI do but couple things first. What's ur main goal? Do u want it to be quiet? How far are u pumping the water up? Where are u located as in weather wise will the added pump make u need a chiller? What's ur price range as well?

It could be: what "she" said:rolleyes:Plus what he said
Is the Sicce adjustable flow rate?To justingraham's point:
Red Sea put that 1,800 gph in mine.
It's a Sicce made for Red Sea.
So, I'm passing water threw a chiller, GFO reactor and Purigen reactor as well, with ease:)
it's not a dc pump if that's what you mean.Is the Sicce adjustable flow rate?
http://www.marinedepot.com/EcoTech_..._Pumps-EcoTech_Marine-EM1240-FIWPSBTO-vi.html Would this be good? Then I wouldn't need a valve to adjust right ? I could just use the remote to match the overflow?it's not a dc pump if that's what you mean.
I'd buy it in a heart beat! EcoTech is known to make good stuff.http://www.marinedepot.com/EcoTech_..._Pumps-EcoTech_Marine-EM1240-FIWPSBTO-vi.html Would this be good? Then I wouldn't need a valve to adjust right ? I could just use the remote to match the overflow?
You done OP good!!!!!!!That's my first eecomendation
Is 1200 GPH overkill for a return/overflow for a 120 gallon tank with 20 gallon sump? If it is what should I go with?
