So I picked up this purple simplex from Kraylen and stuck it in my tank next to a green turaki and a few more green sps, I was looking at it the other day and there seemed to be green hues forming all around it that are not on piece when I got it nor the mother colony. So my question is, is this thing now grafted I'm not in to much of the grafted hype but was just wondering if this is what is going on? Here are some pics:

There is a possibility but I'm thinking it's just the lighting from the looks of it... Search some images you will see distinct lines in the colors it doesn't really fade like that... You never know thou time will tell..;)

I don't really care much about the grafted part to much just thought it was kind of cool, we will see how it turns out.

Well, a lot of purple SPS will actually be green when in small fragments... I took note of this in several different purple acropora I have owned. For instance, DML08's Millie Madness was pure green for the longest time in my tank in small form, once it grew past a certain point it turned into the rich purple we all know and love today. Premo's Purple Tricolor did the same in other people's tanks I noticed. The pure purple acropora I picked up from Steve(Far left side of Jenova) turned green when let it tumble around in my frag tank.

Once grown to a bigger size and fully acclimatized to your lights, I believe it will be the rich purple it is in my tank.

I hope this helps! :)
