So to say I'm a newbie here would be an understatement. I'm certainly an amateur at reefing and ABSOLUTELY an amateur at forums so double whammy. However, I'm going to give it my best at both worlds here. Any advise and/or constructive criticism anyone feels like dishing out along the way is more than welcome. I will try to keep updates on my thread best I can. I have to say that I THOROUGHLY enjoy reading everyone else's posts and seeing their awesome builds. Looking forward to the years to come in this adventure and all the learning along the way!

Ok...I'm already thinking about changing this up. I want to replace the crushed coral with sand. i also want to ATTEMPT pvc aquascaping for better flow and appearance. Any advise? what are your thoughts on sealing the pvc ends to keep crud from building up in them? oh yeah....and my wife is just shaking her head at me for already wanting to change up. LOL!

So I finally remedied my crushed coral mistake by replacing it with CaribSea special grade Aragonite sand. I am SO much happier with the results!!! Here are a couple during and after shots. Disregard the rock placement. I just set everything back in after I was done. I plan to ATTEMPT building my own aquascape with the glued together busted up live rock approach. We will see how THAT turns out.
