Hey, Saturday night and all of a sudden get home with incredibly noisy return pump.

It's a great white 12,000 litres per hour.

I've tried opening the casing and cleaning the impeller, but the noise persists.

I'm not sure if the noise is from impeller or pump internal parts.

Any pump experts here ? I have a feeling I might need to buy a new pump.

I have no spares so hope it keeps working till I get a new one. Though the noise is killing me.

when you had it apart to clean the impeller, did you remove try turning the shaft to see if it spun free? It sounds like a bushing is bad on the impeller shaft, but that is as much guess as anything listening to a video. I'd be looking to get a back up asap.

Yeah the bush seemed fine. I removed it all cleaned everything there was nothing stuck on it just a bit of gunk that I cleaned.

I sent Dalua a message. Will see what they come back with though I guess I will be on the look for new pump.

Great timing, going to a Sabaton live show tomorrow and traveling next week. 😭

Just to confirm when I removed the impeller. There was a bottom bush and a mid/top bush.

The bottom one spun fine. The mid one not.

Not sure how it's supposed to work honestly.

there should not be any resistance, or anything other than a smooth even feel to the shaft when you spin it by hand, any play at all in it is a really bad sign as well. Both bushings should spin freely I believe.
