I just went to feed my 22gallon aquarium and noticed these little things swimming around but also landing on the side of the glass. I thought they were baby shrimp but upon further inspection I am pretty sure they are really tiny green band gobies. Landing on the glass and resting like the adults do on the rocks.

They are too small to get any meaningful picture but I am super excited!

The aquarium only has 2 green band gobies, a yasha goby, a candycane pistol shrimp, and a peppermint shrimp.

The only thing I have a pair of is the gobies so...
I did add 3 candycane pistols but I am fairly certain there is only 1 left.

thats cool man!

Good luck. If you want them to survive get copepods and feed the tank. Either way. Nice!

Best video i could get. They are swimming around. Look around the powerhead.

If i can get some free time I might setup a 10 gallon and learn to grow them.

I went to work for 30 minutes, came home to setup a 10 gallon and net them, and they are all gone.

Maybe I should read up on green band gobies and be prepared for the next time.
Shame. Yeah they could be hiding In the rockwork. Obviously you’ll have to be fast but it’s not gonna be a one off. So have fun with it.

If you're successful in rearing them, put me on the "want" list if you're willing to ship :)
