Hello!

I have some green encrusting algae growing on the back wall of my aquarium. I quite like it, more than just the bare black plastic. It's not hair algae, slime algae, etc. It almost has a calcification to it and it's hard. My question is - if I leave it and let it grow, will it's oxygen consuption/c02 production at night cause ph problems in my tank?

Thanks!

Coraline algae.
They come in many colors, purple, pink, green. My favorite is the glowing pink I have. Doesn't grow fast by any means.
