So hopefully didn’t make a rookie mistake but thought I full inspected the coral before I bought it two days ago but now after turning it around to experiment with lighting and flow I saw this little area. Is my coral a time bomb for when it does or can it recover?

I have a green gono that had some damage as well. Took some time but fully recovered. Just be patient and keep an eye on it and parameters stable. Good luck

Anything specific you feed yours? I have reef roids but have heard of some specific goniopower? Didn’t know if it was basically the same thing or not
