Hello guys, I got a new green maxi carpet anemone about 4 days ago and since then it has not attached its food to any of my rockwork.. It has not even really moved from the place that I put it in the tank. However, even though it has not moved it open and looks healthy with its mouth closed. I have not seen it eat yet and have not attempted to feed it in the last few days. Only on day two did I try and feed it with no luck. I am not really sure on what I can really do to help it find its place. I don't want to keep messing with it too. Any advice? Thanks!

As far as I'm concerned they prefer the sandbed, my sebae had this issue so I made a cave of rock around him to let it decide for rock or sand or a little of both.
Its foot is halfway on rock and sand, I also turned off all pumps to let him settle down.

yeah he was on the sand before and half his body is leaning against the rock. I have my power heads off right now and turned them on when I though he had his foot down. But, when doing a water change he floated right away with the current. I have never really had an anemone not really move at all though..
