Hello all. I have a small rock with bright green mushrooms bought about a month ago. When I bought them they were bright green. In my tank they are losing color, turning to brown. I tried changing them from low light to higher light and back again. A little before the lights come on (6X39 T5) they are relatively closed and brighter green. When the lights come on they open fully and turn to brown

Got a picture? I would find a spot low to mid tank with low to moderate indirect flow and leave them be.

I agree, find a good spot with lower flow and lower light and leave them be for a while. switching the corals spots frequently only causes more stress and color loss imo, seems the shroom needs some more time getting use to its new tank parameters.

Mine definitely don't like light. I mount them vertically where they only get a glancing light cast upon them.
