whats the story with beautiful green acros not being popular? I know green is the most common color but i see sooo many beautiful bright bright green acros at LFS and people just turn away from them. It seems they rather buy a dull ugly green so long as that coral is named. I dont get it

I guess I haven't really noticed that, green slimers/b.nest are still popular IMO. However green is prolly the most common color so maybe that's why.

My favorite coral is probably my green birds nest and I have been raving about a green slimer for so long. Just have not seen one at the LFS yet, other wise it would probably be in my tank, lol.

I have a green pocillopora damicornis, and my tri-color is sort of green, and my blue bottlebrush and my sunset monti have green polyps. But then agian I am a broke reefer so maybe that is why I get the common ones. Oh wait, my red planet has a green base. I think every sps in my tank has green except my pink birds nest and my monti caps. I just love green.

Do they look like slimers or b.nest? I don't suppose you have the pics to give us an idea... I agree, it is rediculous that no one seems to want'em.

I don't know why. I like mine a lot. And yes, it really is that bright.

Too bad you don't live closer to me, my slimer -- which i keep because the color is so bright -- grows like a weed and i have to frag often (and give away).
