Just got back to my classroom (Here's my other thread if you're interested: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/hs-biology-32g-biocube-build.461082/) from Thanksgiving break and luckily all of the fish survived. The same can’t be said for my green star though.

Is it beyond saving or even possible to save?

For a comparison this is what it looked like last Tuesday before break and I bought it on 11/6

savable. GSP is very hard to kill. looks like something was eating it

Here is what I have in my tank to help figure out the culprit

2 Clownfish
2 Green Chromis
2 Rainford's gobies
2 Emerald Crabs
1 Cleaner Shrimp
About 10 hermit crabs and snails

Emerald crabs are the suspect ! They mostly do it at night time after light are out.
