Green tip torch

i have an Aussie green tip torch that has been growing well for awhile. I noticed that it stays squat and doesn’t grow up in branches the way a lot of torches do.
Im curious if this is more related to tank conditions or difference in torch species?

I’m not concerned by this at all and just want to gain some knowledge.

Torches usually split heads and over time they can develop the "upward" growth. That has been my experience with them at least.
