My green torch has totally removed itself from its mount , it still seems alive , I’ve placed it in a shell with a couple of small pieces of rock,, Any tips/help please

Sounds like polyp bailout. Usually a last ditch effort. How are your parameters and lighting?

I’ve just gone from a 180 to a 500 so either the change in water peramitors or reposition ,, I had positioned it a lot higher in the tank tho,, there’s nothing left in the mount but torch is still good colour,, I’ve been told it may attach itself to small rock if I’m lucky ,,,
