Yesterday, when adding some new corals, I discovered this little guy.
I didn't add him, and it looks like a green Torch to me.
I have a colony of 12 in my tank, but that is over 30cm away from this position. Also, the rock was a dry reef rock when I build my tank.
Wondering now how this guy ended up in that hole.
I do have a lunar cycle on my LED's which is running for 3 hours each evening.
As I understand, new polyps usually only grow at the base of an existing colony.
Also, colonies are usually all male or female? How can this one be a result of spawning if I only have one colony?
