Green war painted Goby

I lost mine today after only having him for 3 weeks. I never could get him to eat or come out from under the rocks. Anyone else ever had such an issue with this type of Goby. I don't lose fish so I'm just trying to figure out what happened. Thanks

I've kept a couple of clown gobies and they were both bold and easy to get eating. Was there any fish in the tank that could have been bullying him?

The other fish completely ignored the goby. So I didn't see any bullying unless it happened during the night.
