Hi all. I'm very excited to be part of the reefing community. I'm an absolute beginner, and I really appreciate the fact that I have access to a plethora of information on this site.

This has by far been the most rewarding endeavor I've attempted. And I'm sure many more sweaty nights are to come (like the time I lost my clowns to brook )

My tank is barely established, it's a few months old. I currently have over 40 frags in a 100 litre tank. This tank has a rear "sump" with a protein skimmer and a small hang on refugium. I'm currently battling high nutrient levels , and recently got Red Sea's No3 Po4 X to try and bring it down. (Had a little heart attack when I added a bit to my tank and smelled acetone, but apparently that's normal)

I'm really looking forward to the growth of corraline algae.

Note I numbered the pictures as I need help ID'ing them.

#1 has started to look deflated, and the sides seem to be burning.

And I'm also concerned about this fungia, it looks like it is injured.

I hope I can build some knowledge and be able to help others in the future!

Fungia seems fine. Assure sand is not irritating it . Also assure the tank is not getting elevated phosphates-salinity-temperatures.
