I have had the system running for 11 months. My main goal was to keep a large clam and a bunch of fuzzy sticks. I'm constantly experimenting and changing stuff, looking for an upgrade or a way to improve my system. I love the hobby and made a lot of good friends from it, I'm looking forward to seeing your tank and hearing some advice!

Equipment!
210 Gallon display (72x24x29)
40b for sump (Mag 24 return pump)

40b frag tank
Warner Marine MFK-251 protein skimmer
Neptune Apex controller with lab grade temp/ph/orp/conductivity probes. WxM, Dimming/Variable, and I/O breakout modules
Santa Monica 100 Acrylic Algae Scrubber (I love this thing)
Continuous auto water change system (have changed the method multiple times, finally settled on a mod to my Tunze osmolator I'll thread it later)
5 Aquaillumination SOL Super Blue LED modules (changed to all 40 degree optics)

3 DIY full spectrum led lights - 24" all cree with 4 violet, 4 RB, 4 green and 4 red leds each (under construction a couple more weeks till this project will be finished)
2 Vortech MP60wES and 2 Vortech MP10wES in the frag tank
Tunze Osmolator ATO
GFO and GAC Bulk reef supply dual media reactor
36 watt UV filter
2 250 Watt Titanium heaters
4 BRS1.1ml dosing pumps for:
- BRS Calcium (145ml daily)
- BRS Alkalinity (recipe 1) (145ml daily)
- BRS Magnesium (20ml daily)
- Straight vinegar fully saturated with BRS Kalk (30ml daily)

The 210 gallon build! - All progress over time pictures are in reverse and are mostly subject to my terrible photography. A couple times I have had my mom and her skills come by though, hopefully again soon! 210 Gallon Mixed Reef pictures by thatgrimguy - Photobucket [/FONT]

Nice tank, What is that box that appears to be mounted on the rim of the tank? I love those caps up top, and the brain corals are nice!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! I love to scape. I built all the structure freehand then used epoxy to strengthen it. I caught the fuzzy stick bug a couple years ago and have become obsessed with SPS ever since!

This week I have identified a problem with my Montis as being some sort of amphipod that is eating them. Last night I treated with interceptor as if it was red bugs on Acros. I have only seen one other thread that describes what I have. I got the infection from my LFS who used interceptor successfully. I could count about 15 black specs on the underside of a particular cap prior to treatment. As of this morning I can't visibly see any!! I am also seeing a great side benefit to my acros they all looked amazing last night!

Took some new pics today. Nothing major. Just a few FTS.

My messy sump... I'm getting some help with replumbing it and cleaning it up soon. I'm also going to pull the 40b out of line and seperate it. I'm going to use my 30g as the sump and have my auto water change system change into this system. That way I'll swap about 80g of water from my main display through my QT/frag tank and maintain parameters that way. I'll use an algae scrubber for nutrient control in addition to the w/c. I'm not going to get a worse invader next time!
