My snowflake has been eating 2 small silversides alternating with 2 pieces of shrimp every day. The fish get fed 3x daily but for the evening meal she comes out and begs.

i have fed my 3 snowflakes JUMBO MIN made by tetra
they are for cichlids/oscars but they love them and have grown to there natural size and color
took a few days to get them to eat it but once they did that was that also freeze dried krill
each are in separate tanks and they all are 6 years old

Do they still eat the krill? I hear it's really bad for your fish.

yes they do but i don't think its krill but more like large freeze dried shrimp
they eat the jumbo mins as a daily feeding and a FDKrill 2X a week
Also my 2 dwarf lions eat the jumbo mins as well

Not sure, I went to the LFS near my house to pick up food and they had just brought her in. She came from a client's tank that was getting out of the hobby. She's 15 to 18" and about as big around as a jumbo hot dog.

She's awesome. Knows when it's feeding time (everyone in the tank comes to the front corner about 30 min before feeding) and she starts cruising. She took 2 silversides tonight from my hand at water surface in a 30" deep tank. It was awesome, first hand feeding.
