Grow lights for ATS

I am going to build an ATS soon. I have two Viparspectra 300W (165W actual) LED grow lights I would like to use. Can I do so? I know it's a lot of light. If I can't use them I will get appropriate lighting. The lights would be mounted about 6 to 12 inches from each side of the screen. Thank you.

overkill on the lights unless you lower intensity. i would say to continue on this route and adjust accordingly if the lights seem too much. not necessary to buy new lights until you know for sure if the spectra's are too much or not.

Sounds good. If I can avoid spending money on lights for the ATS I can spend it on other things my reef needs. Thank you.

My biggest concern would be not being able to grow algae due to too much light Intensity. I might have some ideas though to reduce the light. Once I get the scrubber running I'll update this.
