Grow out tank for clowns

Hi guys. I have 25 days old clonwns, i setup hole grow out system but it has to cycle first, but i need to move them to bigger tank and add better filtration cuz current one is not enough anymore.

My question is, can i move my clowns from larval tank to fresh grow out tank? I will move sponge filter and current water with them, but i will add brand new media and hang on back filter to help with polution. Is this safe for them ?

I would definitely move sponge filter with them but I’d try to leave as much old water behind as you can, as you may be bringing dirty water and decaying matter with it and then the filters in your new system will have to work twice as hard to keep up with the fish + the poo, excess food, etc from the old water.
