Growth on Chalice

I noticed a growth hanging off the side of this chalice. Is this normal? Is it part of the chalice?

It honestly looks like it's discharging excess food more than anything. Either way not something I would worry over

Right on, thanks again! I haven't fed it directly since I got it. About a week ago I think? I do drop 10-15 drops of phyto feast in twice a week to get the feeding tentacles out on the other corals to feed them mysis. Just picked up some reef frenzy today though.

I did notice it had it's sweepers out today at about 1pm.
