I just got an AI prime a few days ago. Upgraded from the stock evo light.

My GSP is fully extended in the ramp up and ramp down periods. Probably about an inch long. Nice and flowy like long grass.

During the full light period, the polyps are curled and not extended. They're still out, and it looks healthy, just not nearly as long and flowy as during the ramp periods.

Is this a sign that it's still acclimating (it's been 2 days) ? I have my lights powered down significantly so I hope it's not too strong.

Yup…here is pic zoomed in on the highest PAR area for my tank. The GSP is even growing strands toward the light since it’s run out of wall space.

I have the same tank and light, my GSP took a few days to get used to the new light, but went back to normal after about a week.

Hope this helps.

Oh perfect!

This is good news. I already feel like the light is low and I didn't want to turn it down any more.

BTW your tank is stunning!

Here he is all curled up. Looks completely different in the ramp up and down periods.
