Gsp Growth

Hi everyone I have a question for you

I have decided to grow a Gsp wall on the rear of my tank
( I know it’s very invasive but I want to give it a try )

My question is on the picture I have included the new growth only has a few polyps! Is this correct or do they come out at a later date.

It'll put out the polyps when it's ready. New growth rims won't usually have polyps immediately.
