Whats a good price for a football sized rock covered in gsp?
If you're buying/selling it really depends on if its a vendor or a buddy/ hobbyist. As a store, we have to generate income so we will sell frags on average for $20. Generally, hobbyists will either sell whole rocks extremely cheap (30-50) or give them away for free when they are tired of having the coral in their tank. If you're selling I would recommend considering trading it if you're not dead set on getting cash for it. People tend to be a lot more generous when trading. If purchased at a retail store that would likely be priced at $100-150.
I hope that helps!

Heck a rock that big alone would be more than 10 bucks I’d think. Price is hard to determine for gsp though. I see little frags on web sites for 20+ So it just depends on if it’s currently invasive to the seller or not.

A football is pretty darn big, and if it's fully covered with GSP it kind of sounds like a nice 'centerpiece.' I'd have no problem paying $100-$125 at an LFS if I wanted/needed that piece to really make my tank pop.
