GSP split open?

Hi all,

My GSP appears to have split open, just noticed it tonight. The polyps were fully extended all day today and looked fine. Any ideas what could cause this? Greatly appreciate any thoughts!

Gsp doesn’t have a skeleton. That’s likely coralline from the rock :)

I agree with @45ZoaGarden It grows like a mat and will probably lay down on the rock and continue to spread.

Thank you for the reply’s! I have two completely different looking frags of GSP, that’s why I was confused by the appearance.
