Anyone ever try to make gps bushes or trees that stay put and stop spreading?

Trying my hand at it but curious what others do as far as containment lol

This trial run has a frag plug glued on to a 3x3 plate

You should look into branching GSP. Purchased a frag of branching GSP here almost 1.5 years ago. Frag vs. now. Zip tie on frag was used to support it, otherwise it’d keep falling over. Now a few branches have grabbed onto the back wall for even better support.

Dang I didn't even know that was an option! I will have to source some and give it a shot. Thank you!

Keep an eye on the marketplace here. With regards to containment, it's really stayed to the 3" frag disk and only recently began encrusting to the back of the wall and shooting out branches from there.

That is awesome. You almost make me want to get a piece of the weed...almost:p

Haha do it! What could go wrong..... I actually had a rock with some from a teardown I put in a display at the LFS where I sell coral just cause people always ask for frags of it and figured I will keep it cut back. Here it is a month later and 10" higher up the rock getting ready to eat my acro frag lol.
