Just wanted an opinion on my GSP frag has grown a little since I’ve gotten it however seems as though someone’s trimmed it with a lawnmower I’ve had GSP in the past and the polyps were a lot longer this once feels like they’re not opened fully?

They usually seem to expand more in lower light areas with moderate current and more full spectrum light. Just my experience.

Odd I had it on the sand bed and they didn’t open at all now placed it middle of the tank and they’ve opened up that much. Not sure where else to move it too

Yea I find when you frag gsp the polyps get smaller for a while. Every time I frag the coral looks dead and than a month later takes over. Wouldn’t worry about it and give it some flow
