H. Melanorus an amazing fish

A beauty, full of character , protects the corals, turns the sand day and night (sleep in).

I love mine. I haven't seen a flatworm in weeks. I was having to blow them off if my leathers daily before adding the melanurus. Mine sleeps in a clay pot full of sand since I'm BB.

they can become jerks over time
especially to new additions…
but they are really beneficial in keeping pests at bay!

It’s a staple fish in our tanks. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any bugs or worms on corals when there was a melanarus wrasse in the house.
