So I removed all my rock to remove a trigger with a swollen chin and not eating. Also gave me a chance to brush all the dang GHA I been battling for months. While pulling out the rock. Pieces that were cemented broke. So I can't put it secure enough the way I had it. And being now barebottom. It's risky. I'd like to make sure it's safe. That being said. Is there a putty or something to put rocks together while in the tank. Or do I need to take it out and cement. Let dry and put it back in?

There's quite a few reef safe epoxies out there that can be used underwater. Many online reefing stores sell it.

I ordered this. Now I plan on only pressing it inta rocks to keep it from sliding. But how strong is this. Could I actually branch off a shelf with this stuff if wanted??
Yes but also use super glue in addition to the epoxy... since you’ll be working with wet rock you’ll need to super glue, then epoxy, then more super glue on the other side. The super glue will hold the epoxy to the rock while it cures

I guess I have to set the piece in a shelf and then out something under it bracing it until it fully hardens??
It cures in minutes. Bracing it wouldn’t hurt
