Hello Reefers. Looking for help identifying hair algae in my tank. I have been fighting it for 3+ months with manual removal. I would consider if somewhat difficult to pull off rocks.
I am considering fluconazole if it is bryopsis. If it is regular GHA then my plan is to continue fighting with manual removal and correcting parameters. I know fluconazole can kill GHA too, but I will have to correct parameters regardless if thats the case. (Even though my nutrients aren’t crazy elevated anyways, so not completely sure about that). PO4 is usually around 0.06 and Nitrates around 15-20. (Hannah checkers)
Here are some pictures. Some of the pictures are after manual removal.
Thanks in advance.
