I’ve got hair algae in my chaeto. I have a small refugium. An experiment to see if I can grow chaeto and maintain a healthy population of pods. The light I have is a smalll Pico led. Chaeto Maintains. But I would t say it’s growing. But the hair algae is. Any advice? Light runs 7 hours at night with 6 bulbs in the 660 nm red amd one bulb in the 450nm blue. Adjust the light cycle? Too long? Thoughts?

The light itself is likely supporting the hair algae. You may have to resort to removing it by hand
A turbo or a couple of astrea snails may help as they will eat remaining GhA while having no interest in the chaeto
