Don’t give up I was in this situation a couple months back it just took a lot of manual removing and water changes about twice a week for about two months then it stopped getting like that

I still have a minor GHA Problem and use a cannister filter I bought on FB Marketplace to siphon it up after scrubbing. The key to remove as much as possible and not spread it around

Thats because the algae is taking it all up. If you don't have anything too sensitive, you could try either spot treating areas with hydrogen peroxide or start regularly dosing it. I've never used hydrogen peroxide as a daily dosing method to control algae (althought from what i've read some people do), but i have used it to spot treat areas with all the pumps off. Just don't use more than ~1ml per 10 gal.

Dry Rock seems to be a common theme with GHA in new systems. I've still got some GHA in mine and have a mixture of Live and Dry Rock. There is a noticeable difference between the two. The Dry Rock just doesn't grow the "Good Stuff" like the Live Rock does. I would probably add a second Urchin, and have you considered an Algae Scrubber? I don't really see Dino's in your pics so I'm not convinced adding Nutrients will solve this. It will help your Corals some but will just add more fuel for the Algae and manual removal is tough with Corals in the Tank. You have 2 Tangs that should be grazing all day on the short stuff so I would not feed any Nori (I don't). If you have a lot of Rock, you may want to consider removing a couple of pieces.
