Half of hammer coral gone?

I woke up today to half of my hammer coral being gone. My other hammer and torch are completely fine as well as all my other coral. My guess is that my peppermint shrimp got hungry as I previously had one I had issues with.
Any other ideas of what could have happened? I took the peppermint shrimp out
