Hamilton MH pendant question!

I got this Hamilton MH system used. They're both joined. It is currently in use.

Wonder if the 2 lights (each 250w se) can be separated?
If so is it easy?

I believe it is a single piece. Not meant to be separated.
but a GREAT light!!

I'm sure you can separate them but you would need to rewire the fixture and run it with two ballasts.

Oh i forgot, they have 2 separate external ballasts running now, already.

If it's not detachable why is there a divide in between i wonder

Not a MH guy but the ballast shown is for fluorescent tubes...
Err never mind combo fixture..

anyways each MH should have it's own ballast soo not hard to seperate them AFAICT

Sooo they are talking about physically separating the 2 MH fixtures..
