Seam Failure or Just Cosmetic?

Yep that’s what I’m referring to. It’s inside. I have water tested for 12+ hrs. No leaks but wanted to see if I can get opinions here:
1. A watched tank never leaks.

2. And as others have mentioned, the seal failures tend to occur on larger tanks at younger ages. These smaller units don't have the high failure rates, supposedly.

I didnt see the size posted. Not as big of a risk on small tanks. Check the edges of the silicone around the inside the tank for any peeling or areas not stuck to the glass

The tank is fine. I have had smaller tanks with imperfections in the silicon. They hold. On a forum like this you are going to get people who see both sides of the situation. You are just going to need to decide for yourself. If I were you, I would keep an eye on it. If it is a stable imperfection, you are fine. The pressures involved are 5x+ greater on the larger tanks. While I think it highly unlikely this will ever be an issue, you can keep an eye on it and will have time to react.
