A few days ago my hammer started to close up, now it’s losing color and I can see the wall on part of it. Never happened before.
Also seeing some reddish-pink growth near the foot (see pics).

2 weeks ago I was moving corals around in the tank and this hammer came off the frag plug so I glued it to a piece of rubble rock.

Changed the location, and probably the flow it was used to, par is probably the same.

I know I need to take my water in to get tested because I only have a kit for pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. But without a water test… what kind of thoughts do you reefers have?

It looks like it’s dying to me?

I’ve seen worse. I’d get your water params checked asap. Something may be off there. I don’t see any bjd yet but keep an eye out for it.
