Hi all! My hammer has some baby heads on it and I was wondering about how long it takes them to grow into full heads. Thanks!

Depending on your levels. The baby heads take a long time. The faster growth comes from heads splitting. So new heads for me takes a year to see em through. Splitting just a few months.

Yeah new heads take awhile. They grow faster if you’re able to cut them off and place them in more light as when still attached to mama they get barely any.

No worries.

Thats in my experience on branching hammers. The new heads take forever, splitting existing heads go alot faster. Idk

Is it a pain to cut them off? Do you have to wait until a certain point to cut them off?

It depends I have never personally done it. A few people on here have but imo I wouldn’t do it personally just for fear of hurting the health head.
