Hammer coral husbandry

Hello guys !! I wanted to ask everyone’s opinion of my euphylia garden. I have a nice frogspawn colony and a 2 head frag from it which I think are doing great. I placed a hammer wall coral
Next to it and I’m not sure how’s it doing. I’ve read that they can live together without major issues. But also that they are somewhat stressing each other. I have another hammer coral that is kinda new to my tank and isn’t doing so well. It started dying so I change its placement. My question is if you guys think I can put it with my other euphemism that seem to be doing better or that would just add more stress and finish killing my hammer. Keeping them apart would be my recommendation. Flow is the most important part in euphylia placement so find an area with moderate movement and hope for a recovery. Best of luck.

In my experience. Only the torch coral stung other euphyllia.

so far the only change ive seen is that it is starting to extend a bit more, but still no regrowth of tissue, i have no idea how long that would take, but i can see the flow is kind of strong, would you recommend me to move him or leave him be now that it seems to extend a bit

Hi,

if you are seeing some opening I would leave it. Moving it is 50/50 if you find a better spot. At least it is in a spot now it appears to not be making it worse. if you have some type of coral food I would try to spot feed for some type of response.

If it gets worse or you see skeleton then may need to take action.

Great corals man! Did you buy them that large or the size of that new hammer? How long have they taken to grow that size? The above comments seem good, I would make sure it’s not too much flow but if it’s extending more then it should be ok
